After 3weeks of minimum going-out due to cold weather, the boys got the chance to experience their first outing in Munich! They were very excited, thrilled and eager. The preparation part was really a big tedious job. We have to wear layers and layers of clothes..log-john (thermal inner), t-shirt, trousers, jacket, head cover, gloves, socks etc..Once everyone was ready, we started our walking to S-Bahn station which is 5 minutes away from our apartment. From Markt Schwaben to Rosenheimer Platz. The train stopped for 9 times before reaching our destination. At each stop, afnan and ayman would ask, “Dah sampai ke, mama?”…huhu..very excited! mama + athif

Indeed it was a very tiring, also dramatic and tiring Saturday. Most importantly, the kids had fun, the adults too:) We plan to go out again next Saturday insyaAllah, provided the boys are well-behaved throughout this week..hehe

note: On Sunday, most of the shooping malls are closed here. Sunday is meant for family day

Today is our 16th day in Munich. I can still remember clearly the day (14th January 2012) we departed from KLIA, everyone was very excited to send us (me + afnan + ayman + athif + nani + tokpa). Hubby, kakwon + abg Imran, mursyid + mursyida, abg dhaus + kak ana, cicah..not to forget, the boys and girls; even our bosses (ringo and yazeer) were there too to say goodbye and to give their final mandate (plus advice) to us.

Nonetheless, despite the excitement, I can sense and see that hubby was actually hiding his anxiety, worriedness, concern on what’s going to happen to us. He kept on following us (through the glass wall), to say bye-bye, even tough we were already inside the international departure area..so sad:(

We travelled via Qatar Airways; total is about 14 hour; transit at Doha airport for about 2 hours. We reached Munich Airport at 6.30 am Sunday morning. It was so cold in the morning (note: currently is winter season in Germany can reach down to -5 deg C!) and safely arrived at Munich Hilton City Hotel.

First week in Munich was very adventurous, dramatic and unforgettable. With the kids coughing and having running nose, even the adults also had the same..in progress of adapting to the weather. Sometimes we even had blood in our nose. Staying in the hotel for one week was among the most unforgettable moments for the kids and my parents-in-law. At least I and marlinne went out during the day for work. They somehow had to stay inside the room (with minimum going-out) due to the cold weather outside. The kids were still with Malaysian time; at 3 am in the morning (@ Malaysia 10 am), all three of them will wake up with eyes wide opened. Afnan even requested for nasi at 3 am as he was hungry; hehe...cute!

Alhamdulillah, finally the following Sunday we moved to our new apartment in Markt Schwaben. We are getting better in terms of health and also adapting to the new time zone. I’ll upload photos later in the subsequent entries (ni actually dah malam, since the kids are asleep, I ‘gagahkan’ diri to upload this blog which has been overdue for 2 weeks; huhu)

Some observations on Germany:
-It’s difficult to find toddlers in Germany. Most families are with no kid, one kid or max 2 kids. Unlike in Malaysia, typically we’ll see family with 2,3,4,5,6 up to even 10 kids.
-They are really proud of their German language. You can hardly find TV channel or even magazine or newspapers in English language.
-Even though they speak Germany; most of the people here can speak English (and easy to understand)
-Medical expenses is very expensive here and cost of living is also quite high (as much as possible, don’t convert whatever you’ve spent money from Euro to RM; else you’ll stressed up yourself, hihi)
-Public transportation is very good here. We travelled via S-Bahn train. This question always triggered in my mind, which one come first..The SBahn or the Munich City? Hehe..you can a see a totally different world underground the city with the train network which is very well connected and efficient.

After several years of not having “big kenduri” at our home in Pasir Tumboh (note: the last one was ours which was in Dec 2005); we had a big kenduri for my beloved sister Maryam Jameelah. Everyone was excited for this; especially abah and mama. All siblings were at home: abg dhaus n family, maryam (of course), mu'adz, shuhaib, sarah, me and family. We were the last ones to arrive home @5 pm Friday, while the akad nikah started after isya' on the same day! I told Yam, this could be the best arrangement; else all the decoration and barang hantaran could have been ‘re-engineered’ by my kids; hehe. Family from hubby's side came all over from Penang and KL. Thank you for coming!

Buat Maryam and Amin; SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU! nampak sgt secocok dan sepadan.

-To Amin, welcome to the family! Jaga Yam molek2 tau..Moga berbahagia selalu.

-To Yam, congrats! sgt cantik:) You're a big-big girl already. Even though you're married, we"ll still maintain whatsapp-whatsapp, hehe..(seems everyday)

17th Dec 2011: We celebrated our 6th year anniversary @Parkcity Hotel, Bintulu. We went there after isya’. The boys were very excited. We ordered lots of food plus Choco Lava (our fav appetizer). Half way while having the dinner; our kids started to sleep, one by one, started by athif, followed by afnan, and then ayman.

Or were they ‘bersepakat’ to sleep? giving chance for papa and mama to have romantic peaceful dinner, hehe. anyhow, thank you boyss:)

HERSHEY: The Sweetest Place On Earth!

Alhamdulillah end of September 2010, I went to Hershey, PA to attend a 4-days conference. OK let’s not touch about work & business part. The original plan (Plan A) was to bring Abang, Afnan & Ayman together. But as the air fares were way too expensive beyond our affordable limit (approaching total of RM20k; huh), we omitted Plan A and moved on to Plan B: Mama goes to PA alone, while Papa will take care of the kids in Penang. It was a tough decision, but we keep on praying to Allah hoping that this was the BEST AVAILABLE OPTION for us.

Well, the route to PA was not easy though:

BTU –KUL (Kuala Lumpur) 2 hrs (MAS)

KUL-LAX (Los Angeles) ~17 hrs (MAS)

LAX-IAD (Dulles, Washington) ~5 hrs (UA)

IAD-MDT (Harrisburg, PA) ~1 hr (UA)

I enjoyed the trip, but it was very tiring and adventurous (as Abang was not around with me). In fact, if Abang is around, he will ensure everything is well-prepared and information is available in-hand: ticket, boarding pass, passpost, money exchange-rate, kiblat’s direction, prayers time, where to shop, internet connection, luggage etc...Abang, as much as I could, I’ve proven that I can be independent too ;p

Probably it’ll be more meaningful if Abang, Afnan and Ayman could join the trip. But, Allah Knows The Best. I really really missed them and my families throughout the trip. I really optmised the free time there; went to the Factory Outlets, Hershey Chocolate Factory, Tour To: Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Walk of Fame, Santa Monica Beach etc..etc.. Among all, shopping at Factory Outlets was the most ‘stressful’ activities..the items sold there are way too cheap to be resisted; hehe..Luckily there’s limit for luggage allocation for the flight.

As a compulsary routine, we communicated via Skype every single day! 9 pm PA time, 9 am Malaysia time. It was a relief to see both Afnan and Ayman dah siap mandi and pakai smart-smart each time we Skyped. Good Job Papa!

However, no matter how sweet or how nice Hershey Town meant to me, “Hujan Emas di Negeri Orang, Hujan Batu di Negeri Sendiri, Baik Lagi di Negeri Sendiri”...sounds like anti-climax, but that’s the reality. I missed my homes...bak kata Afnan ‘1Malaysia untuk Semua’..haha

IF I HAVE MY OWN JET PLANE

If I have my own jet plane...
•I can come back to my home town anytime to meet my family & my in-laws
•I can attend my friend’s wedding at M'sia
•I can go to anywhere at anytime and don’t have to wait for departure, no more delay and so on..
•I can go to meeting or course and come back within one day trip without worrying about my kids...
But..it’s all just a dream..
Actually what trigger me to have my own jet plane was the final point which is I can go without worrying about my kids..
Last Wednesday, I was requested to attend a meeting in KL. It was a last-minute-decision that I only bought the flight ticket at 10 am while my flight departs at 2.30 pm on the same day!
PACKING
I reached home at 12.15 pm and have only 45 minutes for packing (i normally took days to pack; huhu)..in the rush, i managed to call hubby to come back, at least we can meet for a while before i left the him (and also to take care of the kids for 2 nights , huhu)..before leaving the house i left a short note on the fridge:
“papa, afnan, ayman;
Mama gi KL jap je, 2 mlm,
Take Care!
Loves; Mama”
Taxi arrived at 1 pm sharp. I asked Uncle to wait, at least i want to see my hubby before i leave. 10 mins later hubby arrived and we met for less than 4 mins; huhu..Inside the taxi going to airport, i took a deep breath, saying to myself “Be Strong, the kids would be fine with Papa”
KL
Reached KLIA, took ERL, went straight to KL Sentral checked in at Hilton. Went out to KL Sentral to buy dinner. The next day, woke up early, took bath, solat, packing, checked out, went to LRT station -> Pasar Seni ->Dayabumi ..had the meeting which finished by lunch time, apparently the invitation mentioned that the meeting will last at 5 pm! I tried to call Travel Agent to change my ticket to get an earlier flight back to BTU, however, it’s all does not work out..it’s either too complicated or I won’t be in time to catch the flight..really test my patience~
LUNCHEON
To calm down, I went out lunch with my close friends; emy, azra and joely (as promised)...and as all the four of us are mothers, the topics are the kids, breastfeeding, husband, family, kindergarten, baby sitter, maid! huhu..we chose to eat at air-cond indoor restaurant just underneath the building at least the conversation won’t be interrupted by the surrounding, hehe..i managed to overcome my sadness of not be able to come back after ‘borak-borak’ing with my friends. Thank you, friends!!!
AFTERNOON
Don’t know where to go, while my next flight would only be at 8.50 pm..azra offered to stay at her place for a while..at least I won’t be bored to go to KLIA straight away. So here comes, another round of cerita-ceriti, this time more detailed; hehe..emy & joely for sure were jealous as they cannot join; hehe (topics were: kids, first child, second child, family, college, cikgu, family planning, stress, fatigue, penyakit2, who’s gained weight, who’s lost weight, work, vitamins, marriage, friends, tantrums, third child? hehe) In short, we’ve covered so many topics..i think we can even write & sell books ;p..time passed so fast that I left for KL Sental around 3.30 pm.
KLIA
In the ERL to KLIA, I met with Berg Arif (hubby’s friend since high school). He's going back to Png. Then reached KLIA, I tried to catch earlier flight to Kuching, somehow I was the 13th stand-by person..What can I expect? Very low probability to get the 7 pm flight..felt so tired..I met a lady, she has waited at the airport since noon trying to get earlier flight but couldn’t and apparently her flight is at 10.45 pm! Dlm susah2 kita, actually ada lagi org lain yg lebih diuji..I should be thankful on what I’ve got..upon entering the departure, I met with Kak An (my former UTP’s senior), she was just arrived and waiting for her sis. I reached Sheraton at 11 pm. Very-very tired. I remember weighing myself on the weighing scale at the Hotel, and I've gained 2 kgs! hukhuk (tu laa mengata org lagi)
FRIDAY
I reached BTU at 8.25 am. I was happy as my hubby flight was on Saturday instead of Friday afternoon (at least we had a ‘better & proper handover’ o f the kids rather than just like ‘passing a baton’). From office, we took afnan from Nursery, he was happy to see me..took ayman from Mak Mah’s..Ayman looked at me, his forehead were frowning, then turn back to Mak Mah..Ya Allah, this was the first time I experienced my child refused me..I took him, he seemed wondering who’s holding him. Alhamdulillah it was not long that he quickly familiarised himself with me as I offered him ‘BF milk’...That night, we (hubby, the boys & i) went out for dinner together with Cicah (hubby’s sister) and we had Choco-Lava session; YUMM~~ This is as my appreciation to hubby of taking good care of afnan & ayman! To my kids, as much as I could, mama will try to avoid leaving you...I wish I can have my own Jet Plane, hehehe
Anyhow, here’s the journey for Ayman’s EBM. It was moved from one fridge to another:
Hilton’s – Dayabumi (MISC)’s- Dayabumi (level 8)’s- Asian (KLIA)’s- Sheraton’s – my home’s
BTW, papa is now in KL for Rugby Games..Go Papa Go! We’ll support you! Go Gas Go!

personal opinion-less goverment staff less expenditure

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone.
It has been almost 4 months since my last entry here. Somehow,after moved to new section,my workload become more and more. But now i am at my in law's and i really make use of this holiday to spent time with my family and also myself.
Recently i went thru presentation slide by PEMANDU. the slides show where is our country now with current subsidization program and what we are going to face if we maintain the program.
I agree with Tun Mahathir when he said before government remove the subsidy, they need to think how to increase people's monthly income.
As layman, i would like to suggest what government need to do is re-look to their own expenditure. I believe there is major excessive manpower in government. from higher management to lower junior staff. What for you need 2-3 deputy director then provide them with perdana V6+driver.
Other suggestion is to:
1) restructure the salary scheme for government staff.
2) Restructure the organization
3) Remove the provision of car V6 and driver instead give them amount of money and car grant
4) Less meeting and oversea trip. One of my friend frequent traveling just to company group of student. come on??!!..what for..most of the student is 18 years old. they know how to handle themselves.

i believe there is more we could suggest..what say you??

…In the first half, STSSS led 5-0 with a try by Ahmad Fadzli Ismail (me la..hehe) which Raja Muhd Abdullah failed to convert. The Techs however fought back to take the lead (7-5) with a goal early in the second half. Fazly Mohd. Salleh burst through to touch down and Mohd Zairil Anwar converted. It was not long before STSSS regained the lead through a try after a powerful run by Syed Abdullah. Mohd Harris failed to convert. Ahmad Fadzli (again me..:p) then sealed the issue with another try which Raja Muhd successfully converted….

THREE MEN IN MY LIFE...

It’s has been 2 months since the last entry posted by papa, let me refresh this blog with some facts:
There are three men in my life:

From top: ayman, afnan and papa!

First one: my hubby
-Tall, big & handsome
-Funny
-Romantic
-Can be garang as well; huhu
-His favourites: makan, tido, rubgy, MU, facebook, sports

Second one: afnan
-Tall & handsome
-Independent (pakai baju, socks, kasut, semua nak buat sendiri)
-Friendly
-Kalau nak anything, nak jugak smpai dpt!
-His favourites: Upin-ipin, BEN10, susu, spaghetti, chicken, satay

Third one: ayman
-Round & cute
-His hair remained short (grew by ~1mm every month)
-Drink through bottle only when mama’s not around
-His favourites: mama’s milk, nestum, his hand (sedap sgt ke?)

In short, I love them! All three of them:) The next one will be girl pulak ye, papa? insyaAllah..

What happens in Vegas..stay in Vegas..

...don't worry nothing much happened there because i only spent one night there. The rest i was at Reno, Nevada. let me share what happen during my business visit to Reno, the biggest little city in the world..
1. it was an interesting experience to travel across different timezone during fasting month. i dont know how the pilot determine the "bukak posa" time and sahur time. I remember there was one time while i still enjoying my main meal for bukak posa, then the pilot announced the imsak will be in 2 hrs time..
2. i lost my watch at Taipei's airport. I still could not throw away my bad habit always to put my watch on sink or at toilet's door. when i came back to take my watch, it's no longer there.
3. Our company appointed travel agent only booked our ticket to Las vegas not to Reno. So when we arrived vegas's airport, the guy at information booth told us from there to our hotel is about 6-8 hrs drive. So we had to get another flight with our own money to get to the reno. We took Southwest airlines and the journey took 1 hr.
4. It was difficult to get Halal foods in Reno. My menu for fast breaking and sahur were cheese pizza, rice+shrimp, rice+salmon fish, and Maggee. The hotel room doesnt have cattle to boil the water,so i had to use hot water from the tap for my maggee.
5. It was easy to travel within Reno and Sparks. The bus only caused us $2 and with the same ticket we could re-use it if the next bus is within 1 hr 30min from the last purchase.
6. We spent one night at Las vegas. As the next day flight was at 8am, we were advised by the hotel staff to leave the hotel around 6am. But i only woke up at 6am, so my friends had to leave me becoz they worried they will miss the flight. So i have to take the cab alone to go the airport. While in the cab, the driver asked me where i from. I said to him i from KL, Malaysia. Then he said owh malaysia. i asked him back do you Malaysia. He said of course, "i am from Philippine" He has live more than 10 years in Vegas and before that he stayed in Miami. According to him, there are lot of philipino in Vegas. No wonder i though i heard the worker at the airport chat in Philippine.
7. i got chance to experience the busy street of new york. my flight return was from newark liberty internation airport at new jersey. We took 25mins train to new york city. There we managed to get Sabihah food from one of the pakistan restaurant.
8. Then we transited at Stockholm for 1 hr 30mins. Unfortunately, we can't get out from the airport. So instead of feel and breathe the sweeden air, i only can feel the aircond air..huhu..

Sori kalo entry ni agak geli skit...it happened masa form 2 gak.masa tu kami kena semayang isya and tarawikh kat surau sekali ngan bdk2 form 1 and form 3.satu malam tu dgn imam (bdk form 3 aku tak igt nama) wat foul..baca surah kafirun tak abih2 dok ulang 2 ayat last tu sampai tiba2 ada suara jerit.."dah wei..rukuk la"..tengah dok sambung semayang tiba2 dengaq ada org lari kuar dr surau dlm penuh kekalutan (based on bunyila) lepas semayang tu otw balik ke dorm tgk lantai koridor level aku cam ada tompok2 "coklet"..rasanya paham la kot apa tompok2 yg dimaksudkan.tompok2 tu sampai ke tandas.dgn takde kejenya kami pon follow tompok tu sampai ke tandas..Nah!!..berselerak tompokan coklet tu kat dinding jambah..Punggah!!

Masa ni aku form 2 (yeah..2 Biru mmg RocK!). Bulan posa time tu ntah camne masjid penuh masa tarawikh.aku tak igt sbb apa tp dbk2 form 1 sampai form 3 kena smyg isyak n tarawikh kat surau aspura. satu malam tu, aku, aswaD, AsuaT,man tambi..hmmm ade lagi tp aku tak dpt nak recall. back to the story, malam tu kami plan nak gempak bdk2 form 1.cantiklak malam tu semua pakai baju melayu putih. abih semayang tarawikh je kami cepat2 g blok kelas kami.Asuat siap amik kain serban putih g.kami duk dlm kelas 2 hijau.aku, aswad & mantambi duduk kat meja sambil kepala kami sorokkan dlm baju melayu.kirenya cam takde kepala la.AsuaT lak berdiri kat satu corner ngan serban tu tutup kepala cam tudung or stail ustaz kay-own pakai mai gerak subuh. so semua dh set kat position masing2..then tiba2 dengaq ade lari sekuat hati kat coridor.kami pon excited ni kira gempaq kami jadi ni.mmg Yezzza!!
Yg lari tu mmg lari dlm ketakutan..bdk2 lain yg otw ke kelas cakap mamat tu siap rempuh org lain masa die lari..tp masalahnya yg lari dlm ketakutan tu bukan bdk form 1...sekali Yazan daa..pengawas form 4..aiyak!!so paham2 la apa next action tuk kami..
tp masa malam tu kami kena panggil masa dorm form 4 (uih..selamat derang setel kat dorm form 4 pengawas..kalo kena jumpa blanko n the geng..mampuih) geng2 form 4 mmg bantai gelak kat yazan.."wei hang pon satu,bulan posa mana ada hantu"Hahaha....

Almost a month since my last entry..i'm still busy with the overhaul work which now in the final phase. InsyaAllah tomorrow we're going to install it at one of our berth. Last overhaul in 2007 the installation was on the 2nd hari raya puasa..haiya i only went back on raya eve and came back on the morning 2nd raya and straight went to office.Hopefully this time we could handover to OPS by 12 Sept as planned.
eeja,afnan and our new family member ayman already in Bintulu. Tomorrow eeja will start work after the long leave. Today we sent both Afnan and Ayman to Mak Mah the babysitter. While ayman slept inside the buaian, then suddently afnan asked Mak Mah to remove ayman and put him inside the buaian. Terpaksala mama die bought new buaian for ayman..

hmm..let see what happen today..
1. My friend of 11 yrs, Rusydi a.k.a Mamluk a.k.a Mem a.k.a Nesta being awarded Staff of the Year. Congratulation to him. Previous Staff of the year won some cash, allocated parking space for 1 yr and accompanied PETRONAS president for annual dinner with Japan's customer.I believe we could expect the same thing for mamluk..mamu you're the man!

2. My ex-classmate, Pn.Hafsah called me. If i could recall correctly, the last time we spoken when i was in final year.She lives in Jelutong now with her family. To all soksekian, you could reach Hafsah at 019-4777647

3. Finally i could see with my own eyes copy of my company offer letter which has an additional clause preventing staff to marry with people under the same organization. what a ridiculous policy. Till now i'm safe as this new policy only apply to new recruit but who knows in future..i better start update my resume.

4. I got one email which is one of most awaited email. I've been nominated to be part of group doing some studies. I hope with my qualification and experience, they will accept me. This is an opportunity for me to venture new environment new challenge.

1. I still remember wrestling with my father when i was a kid. I jumped to my father every time i noticed he was watching TV.

2. I still remember playing with a wooden rifle made by my father. i will sit and watch him carve the wooden block.

3.I still remember it was my father who circumcised me when i was 4 years old. Don't worry my father was medical assistant that time. The best part was i am the one who asked my father for the circumcision. Looks like a brave boy, right?..there were 10 clinic staff who held me during the process..huhu..

4. I still remember my father walloped me with rubber hose when i was being a bad boy. I believe if i being spoiled during that time, i maybe not be the person i am now.

5. I still remember it was father who always teach me math. I never score below 90 for my add math. Thank you Papa!!

6. I still remember i always get medicines supply from my father when i was in secondary school. I also always refer to him whenever i have health problem..till now. I almost create a SOKSEK record for never go to BM hospital. But during my final year i surrendered. i went to BM hospital once not because of sick but just to skip class.

7. I still remember riding motobike with my father to Penang free school for my UTP Jan intake interview.

Actually there are more i could remember about my father..if i going to list here, it's going to be long..papa, you're my idol..i pray to Allah for you good health. who knows maybe you could circumcise afnan & riyan..take the greatest care!!

Last weekend, i overnight at their house. We were having movie marathon until 4am. Lazy and afraid (hehe..penakut) to go back, i decided to stay and only go home after Subuh. My neighbor must be thinking where i sleep last nite.

I miss conversion "kutuk2 boss"..make lame joke with eeja while driving home.. and when i enter my house i start to miss afnan's dancing, jumping and kicking. i am thinking to buy new hp with 3G so that i could video call them..then i realise eeja's hp also doesnt has 3G..nevermind la lets wait for Nokia E72 (just heard about it today)

For me it's a good business for MU, with that amount of money, we could stop Tevez from leaving, buy ribery and gerard..haha..
Since last nite i tried to install Microsoft office 2007 but unsuccessful. Now my office have migrated to 2007, so in order for me to do homework i need to install 2007 to my notebook. But now i cannot do anything. I have a lot of paper work to do..loading arm overhaul is about to start but i have one contract yet to be awarded. Hopefully i could get it done next week.

Dear Afnan,
it started on 17th January 2000 2nd registration day for UTP Jan 2000 intake. Papa was about to have lunch at Semarang's cafe when papa 1st saw mama entered the cafe with her friends. Papa thought mama was a senior but it turned up that mama was also Jan2000 intake in the same platoon with papa.
My first face to face conversation with mama was a nightmare. Papa kept on asking yes/no questions. "eeja main hoki kan? yes..eeja dok kertehkan?yes..etc" But the ultimate move papa made was..chased mama with a bicycle! it was a spontaneous action..hehe(",) Papa was hanging out with uncle aswad, uncle todd and mamu rusydi when suddenly mama and untie nashwar passed by. As papa was looking for an opportunity to ask mama for a date, uncle aswad and todd asked papa to take bicycle (its belong to senior) and chase mama. Unfortunately, mama refused because she's having class all day.(till now papa still believe mama was bluffing). But the brave action by papa should at least proved to mama how serious i am to befriend with her (or more than that).
We declared on the eve of hari raya puasa (of 2000). The relationship continued until we graduated, until we work at the same place. There was another interesting event happened at Hentian Bus Putra, KL. Mama was going back to kerteh. Papa made a suprise visit before she went onto the bus. Romantic tak?huhu. While papa and mama was busy chit-chatting, sudddenly mama's bus moved. again spontaneously papa chased the bus simultaneously knocking the bus's door. and you know what, the bus actually was moving toward to allow another bus to come in..not departing yet..haha..
This coming hari raya puasa in sept will be our 10 years anniversary of our relationship declaration. By that time, there will be four of us to celebrate it.
To ayang..i will never stop loving you..
to you afnan..papa will also never stop loving you..be a good boy!

Today is Mother day. i dont have any plan yet how to celebrate it with my wife. dinner at fancy restaurant caree gak. tp in bintulu, i dont know which restauran could be considered fancy..huhu.i wish i in penang so that i could celebrate with my mum.
When i was in primary school, my mum sgt garang..grrr.i still remember, she will stay up just to ensure i complete my homework plus the exercise she gave to me. Not just that,she will check all my answer and ask me to correct it straightaway if i'm wrong. For me to go out and play, i need to complete my homework first. my kampong friends used to call me "ulat buku" for that..haha. There was one time 2 weeks before school holiday, my teacher gave me a bundle of homework to make us occupied during the holiday. my mum pushed me to quickly do it and i ended up complete the homework before the school holiday even start. The funny thing was i get scolded by my teacher becoz i complete the homework.
When i was in secondary school, my mum less garang and more sporting. i still remember while i in form 4, i confessed to her that i'm smoking. She did not get mad but she advised me not to smoke outside the bouse, dlm rumah OK!sometime she even gave me the money to buy the cigarette..COOL aight. a part the coolness, i also remember, i make my mum cried in front of my school principal. School called my parents as i being suspended for a week for bully case.
"mama, sorry for that. since then, i promise to myself i will not let you down or do s'thing that hurt and make you cry. Happy mother's day!i pray to Allah for you health. InsyaAllah next week operation will go smoothly and you'll be ok."

Yeah!!I'm here..it took about 6 hrs to arrive at bayan lepas airport.KL-PEN AK5374 flight was rescheduled to 8.20pm then delayed to 9.05pm.I believe you can guest the airline..huhu..now LCCT have more chairs but still no improvement at the check-in counter. Another thing, although now you have been given a seat number, people still queuing at the departure gate..musykil ague. 1. last night i switched off almost all the lights to support the earth hour although i'm still don't know how it could save the environment. The TNB and other IPP still run their gas turbine. Or this programme just an awareness to all earth citizen.

2. I have to admit that my vocab is not good. When i joined my company there are few new words being introduced to me while communicating my boss and peers thru email

3. One afnan's favorite TV show is My Friends Tigger and Pooh. When it come to the "think-think" time, he will point his finger to his head following the characters in the show. Not only afnan, my wife and i also enjoy the show.

4. Last weekend, i became a model for my friend's photography project. He wants to venture in commercial photos like adidas, nike, etc. As i'm a rugger and has the attire, we go for rugby photoshot. Now i know how difficult to stay in the character and how to imagine the situation. When i saw ANTM, i thought it is easy to visualize the situation.

after almost a year i do not play competitive game, finally i got chance to play at 6th International Borneo Touch. This is a touch rugby tournament and quite new for me. The law a bit different from the tackle game. There are terms such as roll ball, dummy half, touch and pass, etc. For this tournament i joined the UPMKB team call Dolphin. We have a good 1st round won all the grouping games. Unfortunately we lost to the champion in the semis but we bounced back to won the 3rd place. So overall, quite a good start for m in this new game. InsyaAllah..next year i'll be back!

Last week my wife went to Melaka for course left me with afnan. She took with her my laptop, that's why i could not online. Actually there is another laptop but the problem every time i'm using internet, it will shutdown. I believe it is due to celcom broadband moderm. Last week was my first time taking care of afnan alone at bintulu while his mother is at west m'sia. Usually i will follow my wife and take care afnan during day time only (erkk..sound mcm lazy dad and husband..huhu). It was not that difficult as afnan is older and no more drink susu badan. The only challenge is to wake up 3am to bancuh susu and to watch Playhouse disney. u can expect my timesheet for last week will be terrible. time in 8.30am and time out 5.30pm. Other than wake up early, the rest is manageable. Masak nasi, goreng ayamas with scramble egg share it with afnan, nonton playhouse disney and then went to sleep. So after this no need to apply leave and buy flight tickets to follow my wife unless la her course is oversea..

I'm still in KL but now all the expenses is on my own. eeja and afnan just arrived from Bintulu to join me at KLIH. Tomorrow we're going to Hemilia's wedding in Cheras. Hemilia is eeja's schoolmate in TKC. Last nite, i had "minum-minum" session with my SOKSEK's friends at Gulam Mee, Kota Damansara. Quite a number turned up; apeq,lobo,ngazizan,mamluk,cho,2pai,matkee,chebob,hakim (all d way from Penang), hizrat,matnoq,epok and his wife. Some of the friends update:
1. epok now drive new honda city (umur br 7 hari)
2. and his wife is pregnant their
3. Apeq steady with his new girlfriend..hehe..
4. Chebob and matkee rancak with their business
5. Rodeo now venture in sawah padi
6. Duzem akad nikah is today morning but the reception is on 8th march
7. Matnoq has found the photographer for his wedding
8. Apeq got photograph assignment from the government (masyukkk)..tu yg banje sate ayam 50 cucuk..huhu

Yes.I'm in KK attending PMMS Awayday. I stay at Le Meridien and i do not bring my wife afnan. Eeja is saving her annual leave to add to the maternity leave later. Actually this is my 2nd visit to KK. The 1st was 2 years ago before afnan is born. The best thing about this awayday is no representative from the management unlike other awayday organized by the company. Cool!i will be here until Saturday and on monday evening will fly again to KL..huhu..yeah..escaping work.by the way to people who wondering what is the PMMS, PMMS stands for PETRONAS Maintenance Management System..ok bah..saya mahu tido bah.

I just bought flight tickets Bintulu KL to and fro and KL PEN to and fro..huh..there are total of 12 tickets. My boy afnan now already 2 years, so full fare for him. Due to my "kalutness", I've to pay additional RM225 from the total charge. it just because i didn't realize i picked wrong timing for my return flight to Bintulu. So i paid RM225 for nothing..arggghh...okla..people say you money can't buy happiness. Thinking about going back to penang, make me forget about the RM225.

Nothing much happened today. went to work, later in the evening joined UPM ruggers for touch-bee and i managed score one try with some trick and side step..huhu..tercungap2 gak lari. anyhow, i still got it! Just now eeja and I starting to get interested in one of afnan's birthday gift. It is called "Turning Logic Block" and it's a game to develop kid's brain. it is actually wooden blocks with different shape and the game is to make a cube from all the blocks. So my wife will put one block on its base as start and i will try to put the remaining blocks to make it as a cube. quite challenge, i did spent almost 10mins to make the cube..huhu dh karat otak ni.
hmm..tomorrow keje lagi and my big boss is coming back from his CNY leave..aiyak..

yesterday was Afnan's 2nd Birthday. His mother would like to say something..

I just can't believe it. it has been two years since we had our prince. i still remembered clearly two years ago..with my lovely mama on my left and my supportive hubby on my right, & the gynae & nurses in the labour room all supporting me.."push..push..sikit je lagi eeja"..alhamdulillah, thanks Allah; here came the baby, we named him afnan nu'man bin ahmad fadzli. then my abah, my papa-in-law and followed by my hubby took turn to perform azan. 1st feb is such a memorable date as it's birthday of my mama- in-law:) and also a close friend of mine; hanun!

Being a mother really thought me on the love, sacrifice, not to forget time management too! huhu..no more time to really relax and to have my own sweet time. all the things that I do, I need to consider the little one. whatever it is the most important tip from my mum & mum-in-law; is never ever feel stressed up when you're handling baby. always be cool & patient especially when the baby is sick and crying..

Afnan is such a good, cute, sweet, cheerful and also active boy! (tgklah papa dia mcm mana ;p)..but behind his macho & boyishness, he's also quite scared on certain things such as heavy rains or the sound of fireworks especially during chinese new year time and also the the sound of vacuum machine; hehe..he would say "takut..takut.." and wants us to hug him.

To cut the story short; it has been a very meaningful 2 years that we've through with the presence of afnan. thick & thin we went through together. I had the experience of breastfeeding (not fully as I had to topped up with formula milk) him for about 1 yr and 11 months. and now he has to be prepared to become 'abang' in the next few months. just can't imagine how things would be; but i do believe he'll be ready to accept adik. even now, whenever he's sleepy & wants to sleep, he'd loved to 'usap' my belly and would say.."baby, baby"; hehe

thanks to Allah for the rezeki; alhamdulillah:) both my family and family-in-law have been very concern & supportive. living in Bintulu has thought us on being independent and on how to survive while being far apart from family. not to forget; the friends here are great!

5.30am - "bah".."bah"..my son waking me up. Not just by calling but also with a few punches at the face. He always wake up early, sometime he wakes up at 4am and only sleep back in the afternoon.
5.35am - i go back to sleep..hehe. Normally after i made susu for afnan or after basuh beraq die...hehe..sorry, i'm bluffing. I just sit down on the bed with 1/2 open eyes.hehe
7.30am - Start the car, put eeja and afnan's bags and mine at the backseat. Normally during this time, afnan sit still in front of TV watching Jim Jam Sunny@ Astro Ceria. Sometime he joins them dancing.
7.35am - Arrive at Mak Mah's house. Mak Mah is afnan babystitter. She just moved to UPM Staff quarters which quite near to our house.

8am - Arrive office. I always use back gate as it's near to my office. Actually the working hours is from 7.30am to 4.30pm but executive staff has flexible time-in but only up to 8am. I don't want to story about my work but here some pictures of activities at my office

5.45pm - Take my wife at the front gate. Then we drive to UPM to take afnan.
8pm - Have dinner with my family. Afnan is the chef. he'll mix all the food in his plate and sometime in his drink cup. After dinner, watching TV time!The programme we watch..what else..Astro Ceria programme la. No news, no friends,nono aku milikmu, no puaka niyang rapik..huhu. Usually on Tuesday and Thursday, i've badminton play date with my office friends.
11.30 - Bedtime. But if i bring home the office work, i'll stay up till 12.30 to 1.30am. Then the cycle continuous.

Giant snake?dragon? in Rajang river

yesterday while waiting to inspect material, i heard abg mat boll asking the warehouseman for chinese newspaper. He want to see article on the giant snake found at Sg.Rajang (yeah..the longest river in M'sia). One of the warehouseman who is local said people living near sg.rajang know about this giant snake. They said the snake has mustache and pair of horn. The snake believed originally was a man who woke up from his death and went to the river then vanished.
So last night i goggling for the giant snake pictures. Here you go..

although the originality of the pictures are questionable and i even do know whether the river is rajang or not. but if it trus..wohooo..mintak jauh lerr..bapok besar.

Annual Home Passage

Today I sent an email to one HR manager in my company which responsible for staff benefit regarding above title.

Dear En. XY,

I would like to get official response on the enquiry about Annual Home Passage (AHP) for both husband and wife working at Sarawak, Sabah & Labuan. The enquiry raised during the presentation of the new employee terms was whether we could get two AHP instead of one which being practiced currently. If I’m not mistaken, En. AB response during the session was he will resolve this issue separately.

With some of the executive staff get additional AHP, it seems unfair to married couple who both of them working in the same company has to sacrifice their AHP benefit just because they’re married. Even in the executive handbook do not mentioned that eligible staff who married each other will lost one of their AHP. The clause in the execute handbook is every eligible executive being posted away from his/her hometown is eligible for annual home leave passage.

I would appreciate yr advise on this enquiry.

Dear En Ahmad Fadzli,

I will respond to you once I received the feedback from HR Centre on your query for eligibility for both husband & wife working in the same company to get AHLP. Based on current practiced, you will get only one AHLP & you will need to choose either to follow your hometown or your wife’s hometown.

But for Additional Home Passage entitlement (on top of the AHLP), it is for EI staff who has been appointed or transferred from West M’sia to East M’sia or vice versa shall be eligible to the following additional home passage :

Married Executive on Single status:
2 actual door-to-door traveling expenses for executive to and from his hometown
Single Executive:
1 actual door-to-door traveling expenses for the Executive to and from his hometown

The executive shall be exempted from the minimum period of 7 calendar days annual leave entitlement to qualify for the above additional home Passage. However, he/she shall be required to seek approval from his superior prior to utilization of this benefit. The application process for this is the same as when you apply the Annual Home Leave Passage.

Trust your understanding on the above clarification plse.

DEVICE FAILURE THANK YOU

This is the second time my CIMB ATM card failed. And it happened during this long weekend (TQ to CNY). Luckily I managed to transfer the monthly allowance to my mom. Maybe the Nawaitu permitted it:-D. Back to the ATM card, for this time failure, I don’t see any obvious defect beside little rust on the cip. I’ve tried to straighten the card and clean the cip but still the error note appeared. My wife said it’s due to rust on the chip but I still think the otherwise. Actually most of my magnetic cip cards are rusty. I thought it is normal but when I checked my wife’s credit and ATM card, hers don’t rusty. Is it due to the way I keep my wallet or the way I places the cards inside the wallet? Hmm..there was suggestion to use card’s holder but I worry if I use it, another problem will come. Yeah, I forgot to bring the holder while I go out. Some people also said you need to periodically change the location of the card and I tried that but it still happened.What else could be done??...and yeah I will go to CIMB Medan Jaya this Wednesday to change my ATM card..apuuu..
