athif is 1 year old

Hari ini, anak ketiga kami, athif najwan bin ahmad fadzli, genap berusia satu tahun. Antara detik-detik yang masih segar dan mencuit hati dalam ingatan: -berat saya mencapai 69 kg di penghujung 9 bulan mengandung. Rasa macam teli-tubbies, huhu. -ketika itu saya dah overdue selama 3 hari. Bos sudah mula sms tanya suami, "isteri dah bersalin?" Mlm sebelum bersalin, suami dan anak2 (afnan dan ayman) sama-sama menyanyi sambil bergendang di sebelsh saya...'baby athif cepatlaa keluar, baby athif cepatlaa keluar'...berulang-ulang kali. -saya sakit bersalin kul 2.30 pg di tgh mlam. Mungkin baby athif terdengar sahutan papa dan abang-abangnya. Bila kejut suami, dia pujuk suruh saya cuba rehat dan tidur semula. Padahal dia yg sgt mengantuk ketika itu, hehe. Sabar sajalah, hehe. -di bilik bersalin, suami lebih mendapat perhatian doktor dan misi. Ini kerana dia sedng bertongkat, kecederaan lutut akibat syok bermain rugbi. Hmmmm. -masih ingat lagi, suami perasan dirinya seperti 'seth tan' kerana tidur di atas sofa. Zaman tu zaman drama nora elena. -saya berasa seperti bermimpi lepas selamat melahirkan athif. Rasa terawang-awang. Mungkin akibat terlebih menyedut oksigas. -ketika berusia 11 bulan, athif sudah mula bertatih dan kini dah pandai berjalan! Cuma kadang-kadang kalau nak cepat, dia lebih suka mengesot. Laju macam askar. Alhamdulillah athif dah setahun. Makin banyak akal, makin mencuit hati. Mama sayang athif. Moga menjadi anak yg taat, baik, sihat, pandai, comel...

it's June;)

We are very excited as now it's June. Our final month staying here.
1) Bought our final monthly train ticket.
2) Paid our final monthly house rent to the landlord.
3) In progress of finishing up our 'rempah-ratus' and food stock at the kitchen.
4) Aim to go for spring-sale shopping before coming back; H&M, Zaara, C&A.
5) Booked hotel for our final night in Munich.
6) Athif 1st birthday 22nd June 2012, another 3 weeks to go.
7q) Need to start packing, hope we have enough bags to cater our belongingness.

Yes, very excited..but somehow I can't deny the mixed feeling. Also sad and going to miss..
1) Love the good public transport.
2) Enjoy the working culture here; have time for family, weekend is really weekend.
3) Nice weather.
4) Gonna miss my officemates here, very supportive + effective + passionate (that answers why they really enjoy work).
5) Love the civic conscious; clean and organized place to stay (rubbish has to be segregatted into the designated colour-coded bins).
6) Admire on how kids here are being taught and raised-up by their parents (i need tuition on these!)
-kids can still sit-still in stroller, baby chair though already 4-5 years old..amazing.
-more outdoor game (sand castle, house tree, slide, cycling) rather than indoor (ipad, tv) etc.
-working mothers who just gave birth can take up to 3 years maternity leave, some company even pay 70% salary.
-dad is eligable to get 1 month paternity leave.
7) Ayman's 3 years-old birthday on 27th June 2012, gonna miss this. later we'll re-celebrate together with athif's in KL or Bintulu. aiming for CHOCO LAVA @parkcity. take note papa:)

Nonetheless, life goes on. I was a bit stressed on work this morning, but I got 2 interesting emails in the late afternoon; which really make my day;) InsyaAllah, pray that tomorrow will be better than today. Amin...

This coming Wednesday...

dear afnan, dear ayman, How are you? Nanti lusa papa balik penang cuti seminggu. Mama rindu sangat kat afnan ayman. Take good care, be good boys! dengar cakap nani, tokpa, mama&papa riyyan. Main elok2 ngan riyyan n dzikry. Have fun with papa;) wish i could be there as well.. ni athif dah ada 5 gigi. Dia dah boleh berdiri. Tapi belum jalan lagi. Nanti mama balik, athif pandai lah jalan. 18 days in Munich, Germany

Alhamdulillah. My company sent me for HAZOP & IPF Meeting/Review at Linde AG, Munich which gave me chance to spent time with my wife and Athif. Sadly, Afnan & Ayman are currently with their Tokpa & Nani at Penang.

Below is how I spent my time in Munich for 18 days...

1st weekend we visited Neuschwanstein Castle in Fussen

2nd weekend and Labor Day, i went to English garden & Zugspitze, the highest peak of the Wetterstein and the highest mountain in Germany

I miss them..

We safely arrived @KLIA on 7th April 2012, alhamdulillah:) HOME SWEET HOME. 

It was a short and very busy stay in KL, where most of my time was spent for Visa application arrangement:

-went to Wisma Putra for doc legalization (tq hubby for your help)

-translation of document (tq hubby for your help & the payment too)

-went to Germany Embassy (apparently I've filled-in the wrong form)

-photocopy the relevant doc for the evidence

-went to Germany Embassy (yes, again for the Visa submission)

-obtain the Visa:) alhamdulillah  

Apart from Visa, I was also busy to fulfill my craving for Msian food, hehe..nasi lemak kerang, ikan bakar, butter prawn, keoy teow, mee kolok, roti canai..you named it. hubby was so shocked to look the way I ate, as if 'tak kenyang-kenyang' huhu

The 2nd phase on my stay in Munich has begun. This time, only athif is with me. While the elder ones: afnan and ayman are @ Penang. They are being taken care by our family in Penang. TQ very much:)  It has just been almost 2 weeks being apart from them, but I missed them so much! Everyday and night; thinking about them.
